Kale ...... plans big expansion into the Middle East and Africa.

Turkish ceramics giant to open Bahrain showroom

ISTANBUL, November 9, 2014

Turkish ceramics pioneer Kaleseramik is planning to open 16 new showrooms next year in countries including Bahrain, Kenya, Ghana, Kuwait and Iraq, where all Kale brands will be offered in addition to its company-owned Italian brands Edilcuoghi, Edilgres and Campani.

This is part of Kaleseramik’s expansion into the Middle East and Africa on the strength of increased business and growth opportunities, said a top official.

Kaleseramik, which has been serving the European markets on a large scale for many years, recently opened 21 showrooms in the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region, nine of them being exclusive.

“Showrooms are very important for us, especially to establish our presence in promising and distant markets, and to improve our sales and brand image,” remarked Musa Tangören, the vice-president, AMEA region.

"In 2014, we added six new showrooms, three of them being exclusive," he stated.

“Exclusive showrooms of various sizes will follow in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kazakhistan,’’ Tangören said.
