Major roadworks are planned for one of Bahrain’s busiest road junctions as an underpass is set to be constructed at the entrance to Juffair. The tunnel, which will be constructed on the Al Fateh Highway near the Gulf Hotel and Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Centre (Grand Mosque) is aimed at alleviating congestion – particularly for traffic coming from the north, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
