An appeal has gone out to help more than 4,500 underprivileged Bahraini families, who live in old and dilapidated homes across the country. Bahrain’s three municipal councils and their counterpart in Manama, the Capital Trustees Board, have started sending letters to companies, businessmen and charitable organisations to help rebuild the homes – many of which could collapse at any moment, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
