Danube evaluating bids for fifth Dubai project

DUBAI, September 8, 2016

The UAE-based affordable housing pioneer, Danube Properties showcased progress on its six projects at the ongoing Cityscape Global expo in Dubai.

The company said it is currently evaluating bids for the fifth development ‘Starz’, located in Dubai’s Al Fujran neighbourhood and is likely to announce the main contractor for the Dh300-million ($81.6 million) project.

Starz offers a total of 446 units of studio, one- and two-bedroom fully furnished apartments with an array of amenities including a health club, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna room, jogging track and a party hall, among others.

On the expo, Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman, said: "Cityscape has always served as the perfect platform for anyone in the property world. This year, I am extremely happy to announce the progress on all my projects."

Work on the Glitz 1 and 2 is currently progressing four months ahead of schedule and is 62 per cent complete. Moreover, excavation at the Glitz 3 project site is slated to begin soon.

Additionally, Danube’s first project ‘Dreamz’ is close to completion and will be handed over in the near future, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
