Bahrain conducts project management course

MANAMA, September 11, 2016

The Bahrain Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning recently held the second introductory course on project management for employees of the government sector.

About 22 employees from different directorates attended the course was conducted by the Project Management Office of the ministry at the Training Center of the Municipalities Center, said a statement from the ministry.

The move is aimed at enhancing the staff knowledge and contributing to achieving the Ministry’s vision of becoming a leading professional providing high quality services.

The attendees later received participation certificates which qualifies them to attend other training courses like the Project Management Professional Course.

The Project Management Office at the Ministry owns the professional training license from the US Project Management Institute, which qualifies them to improve the performance of the office, improve the services provided by the Ministry and enhance the skills and knowledge of the Ministry’s staff.
