UAE developer launches $44m villa project in Bosnia

ABU DHABI, October 23, 2016

UAE-based Green Valley International Real Estate has announced the launch of Salam City, a key residential project coming up on a 134,000-sq-m area at Sarajevo in Bosnia.

Strategically located on the hilltop of Donja Vogošća, one of the most picturesque spots in the entire region, the Dh160-million ($44 million) Salam City will encompass 300 luxurious villas of different sizes to suit various customer requirements, said a statement from the UAE developer.

The project, Green Valley’s third in Bosnia, also includes a four-star hotel with complete range of hospitality services, and other lifestyle recreation and amenities such as open pools, health club, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, mosques, tennis and basketball courts.

The hotel offers convenient villa leasing facilities for its investors, it stated.

The launch is part of Green Valley’s strategy to offer GCC nationals the opportunity to invest in properties outside the Gulf. Salam City is 17km away from the airport and 15 km from Downtown Sarajevo, it added.

On the new project, Ali Saeed Al Salami, the general manager of Green Valley Real Estate, said: "Bosnia offers unmatched returns on investments and our increasing portfolio in the country is a testimony to this. The Salam City project offers excellent growth potential for investors looking for perfect tourist destinations for investments."

"This is a proud addition to Green Valley’s iconic and luxurious projects across the globe," he stated.

As one of the leading players, Green Valley said it aims to take its expertise on a global scale to reinforce its industry expertise as well as strong fundamentals through such projects.

"The launch of Salam City comes close on the heels of its earlier projects in Bosnia. This includes the Green Valley City and The Martyrs compound also located in Sarajevo," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
