Galfar wins deal for Oman plant upgradation

MUSCAT, December 29, 2016

Galfar Engineering & Contracting, a leading construction company in Oman, said it has been awarded a RO13.1-million ($34 million) contract by Salah Sanitary Drainage Services Company for upgradation of the first two phases of Raysut Water reclamation plant (WRP).

The duration of the contract is 24 months in addition to two months for mobilisation, said a statement from the company.

Galfar is a major player in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), operations and maintenance and project management sector. Established in 1972, Galfar has today grown into one of the largest construction companies in the Middle East with a turnover of over $1 billion.-TradeArabia News Service
