ECG lands Neom container activation buildings design contract

RIYADH, December 6, 2022

Engineering Consultants Group (ECG), a leading engineering consultancy firm based in Egypt, said it has secured a major contract to develop the design for the container activation terminal buildings at the Saudi futuristic city project - Neom.
 
These new buildings will be located in Zone C at the upcoming Oxagon City on a 342,999 sq m area within the mega development on Red Sea.
 
The key contract was awarded by Bin Omairah Holding, a leading provider of multi-utility infrastructure solutions in the region.
 
According to ECG, the scope of work includes readying the concept design for the Oxagon City featuring customs buildings (with a BUA of 2,700 sq m), administration offices and other facilities such as canopy structures, security and fences, and gates and barriers. 
 
In addition to this, ECG will be responsible for setting up road and utilities networks and canteen and lockers buildings.
 
"We are pleased to work with Bin Omairah Holding on a project that comes as part of Oxagon City and will be the catalyst for economic growth and diversity in Neom," said ECG in its LinkedIn post.  
 
A major player in the Middle East, Africa and European market, ECG has projects with a total construction value of over $200 billion, it stated. 
 
The company's broad scope of service portfolio includes architecture and landscaping, civil, structural and electromechanical services, process and piping as well as environmental engineering and urban development, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
