500 experts for Etisalat HR summit

More than 500 delegates including corporate executives, authors and consultants will share their experience in cutting edge proactive HR strategies and effective leadership in an upcoming HR conference in Dubai.

The Etisalat Academy, a leading provider of telecom and business training solutions, will organise the ninth Middle East HR Conference and Expo on May 5 and 6 at Atlantis – The Palm Jumeirah.

The event is taking place under the patronage of Humaid Al Qatami, the Minister of Education and the chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

The Minister of Education will address the importance of human resources strategies throughout the changing global business environment.

These policies bring the benefits of human resources and help organizations achieve increased levels of efficiency, productivity, competitiveness, business excellence and quality, a statement said.

“At the Etisalat Academy we are committed to add value to the business sector in the region and to keep pace with all issues that effect industry,” said David Brennan, general manager of the Etisalat Academy.

“Given the increasing importance of human resources in these times, we have ensured that the Middle East HR conference will engage speakers and participants with rich dialogue to identify the most appropriate solutions for today’s challenges,” he added.

Ayesha Salem Bin Suwira, director of training services at the Etisalat Academy and the director of the HR conference, said: “This event continues to sustain one of the most foremost positions among the human resources events in the region.”

The conference will be held under the theme of ‘HR takes the lead’ and it will discuss the impact of proactive human resource strategies on an organisation’s success.
