A number of first and second year students from Sabanci University based in Istanbul, Turkey, visited the head office of UAE conglomerate Al Habtoor in Dubai recently.

Khalaf Al Habtoor, chairman of the group, met the students and gave insights regarding the workings of the group, said a statement from the university.

The trip was conducted to allow the students, majority of who are studying business or economics, to get first-hand information and advice from top-level businessmen in the region.

They will spend the rest of the week meeting with other businessmen in Dubai, and return to Istanbul on January 29, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
