Dubai Sports City partners with GEMS Education

Dubai, August 18, 2013

Dubai Sports City has partnered with Dubai-based GEMS Education in the operation of Bradenton Preparatory Academy (BPA) with effect from September.

BPA will join the group of GEMS International Schools around the world, as a GEMS Global Network School.

It will offer an American curriculum with an international perspective for students from kindergarten 1 to grade 12, modelled after the Dubai American Academy.

Dubai Sports City chief financial officer Vijay Sajjanhar said: “GEMS’ record and its reputation, not only in Dubai through the Dubai American Academy, but also throughout the world, speaks for itself and this agreement is great news for every child attending BPA.”

“The transition to GEMS will be a seamless one and the day-to-day activities of the school will continue as usual. Also, it is important to emphasise that tuition fees for those students already enrolled for the new academic year will not alter as a result of this new partnership,” he added.

Dr Connie Weiner, who has 15 years of experience in education, including five years as a head of school in the Middle East, has been appointed by GEMS as the new head for BPA. - TradeArabia News Service
