Tamkeen offers PR, graphic design courses

A hundred Bahrainis will be trained as part of Tamkeen-funded public relations and graphic design programmes.
 
It will be conducted in partnership with twofour54, the commercial arm of the Abu Dhabi Media Zone Authority, to develop Bahrain's human capital according to labour market needs, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
The first batch of 30 trainees completed their public relations programme in January, while the graphic design group will finish later this month.
 
Both groups are currently doing their practical training at local companies.
 
Registration is now open for the second batch that will start in a few weeks as candidates will learn the best practices during the theoretical part, followed by two-month internships at local companies,
