Abu Dhabi Health Services Company has introduced a new Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) at several hospitals in Abu Dhabi making it easier for patients to have access to their medical records.

The new system will be implemented at six hospitals and 12 clinics across Abu Dhabi, said a report in Gulf News.

The system will be implemented in all of the company's facilities by the end of 2009, Saif Al Qubaisi, managing director, was quoted as saying.
