Obstetrician resumes work at Muscat hospital

Dr Pritima Kaushik, senior consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, has resumed her duties at Muscat Private Hospital after taking a break due to an accident.

She has been successfully practicing at this hospital for the last eight years in Woman’s Health Services, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Dr Pritima has trained and worked in the United Kingdom in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She obtained Membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), worked at the St Georges Teaching Hospital London and was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Collage in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FRCOG) in London.

She has worked as a consultant, senior consultant and head of the Department in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at various posts in the UK and the Middle East.

She has extensive experience in treating a wide range of Gynaecological and Obstetrical conditions before coming to Oman to join Muscat Private Hospital. Her areas of interest and expertise are gynaecological surgery, problems of early pregnancy, perimenopausal issues and well woman screening.
