Muscat Private Hospital turns ten

Muscat, December 12, 2010

Muscat Private Hospital, the leading private medical facility, is celebrating ten years of operations.

The 72-bed premier private hospital has announced plans to open seven new departments in the next 12 months.

A brand new sports injury clinic is set to open along with an expanded heart centre, breast centre, and weight loss services.

Expansion plans for its emergency room and surgical services facilities as well as the opening a new Out Patients Department building on the Hospital campus, looks likely to happen during 2011.

“As the population grows so does the demand for world-class treatment from highly trained medical professionals, and we are meeting this challenge ‘head on’ with the opening of new departments in 2011,” said Awad Mohammed Faraj Bamkhalef, chairman of Muscat Private Hospital.

Along with expansion plans, MPH has launched a new marketing campaign focusing on providing healthcare for the whole family. “Family first” encompasses MPH’s philosophy of delivering the best possible care tailored to the needs of the entire family, from pregnancy and pediatrics to surgery and diagnostics, a statement said.

The hospital is also working towards its Joint Commission (JCI) accreditation – an international symbol of quality and high performance standards in hospitals in the US.-TradeArabia News Service
