Current issues focus for paediatric summit

Dubai, August 17, 2011

Current issues in children’s healthcare and recent advances towards improving the health infrastructure will form the agenda for an upcoming paediatric summit in Dubai.

The GCC Paediatric Summit will take place on September 28 and 29 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.

Leaders of the field will share their learning and experience on subjects such as 'Revealing the role of innovative technologies in addressing neonatology concerns' and 'Overcoming key challenges in diagnosis and management of the most important paediatric disorders', a statement said.

Interactive panels will be held, allowing a unique and extremely rewarding opportunity for delegates to collaborate with key advisors, exploring health authority's strategic approach to common paediatric and adolescent healthcare challenges.

The summit will also provide an opportunity to discuss concerns and share knowledge on present advances in selected paediatric subspecialty areas, including, haematology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, neonatology and psychiatry, among others.

“We are very excited to be bringing together the best in children's healthcare this year, with fantastic speakers and opportunities to network and discuss key issues we feel this year's GCC Paediatric Summit will be a real success,” said Doaa Said, event director for the GCC Paediatric Summit. – TradeArabia News Service
