GE wins again at CEO Awards

GE has been honoured for the second consecutive year at the CEO Middle East Awards with its chief executive officer winning the CEO award for GE’s performance and contribution to the region’s healthcare industry.

The CEO Middle East Awards, now in the sixth year, are amongst the most prestigious in the business calendar, and recognize outstanding performances by CEOs in 15 different sectors of industry. Instituted by the CEO Middle East magazine, the Award underlines the thought leadership, business excellence and leadership skills of industry leaders.

“It is an honour to receive the award for our healthcare business,” said Nabil Habayeb, GE’s president and chief executive officer for Mena and Turkey.

“GE believes in working towards tangible solutions that make a distinct positive impact on the lives of the people. Led by our technological strength, we have been working with private and public sector leaders in the healthcare sector of the region to bring advanced solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and address pressing challenges.”

Based in Dubai, Habayeb has extensive global expertise and is responsible for developing and expanding the growth of GE’s different businesses across the region.
