France-based Hill-Rom, a leading provider of medical technologies, is displaying its holistic patient care and room design approach in a major hospital exhibition that opened in Dubai today (June 4).

The Hospital Build & Infrastructure Middle East 2012 will run at the Dubai International Convention Center today (June 4) till June 6.

Hill-Rom’s Total Room Solution programme allows hospitals to provide an integrated and comprehensive range of services for patient care and mobility, while also enhancing patient comfort and addressing critical issues such as safety of care providers.

The main objectives of the Total Room Solution are to improve patient safety by reducing the risk of patient falls, hospital acquired infections and medical errors as well as improve patient outcomes through environmental measures designed to help reduce patient pain, stress, depression, and spatial disorientation, while improving patient sleep, privacy and confidentiality, and social support.
