Top biotech industry players to meet at BioJapan

TOKYO, August 29, 2015

Key players from the biotech industry from more than 30 countries are set to gather at Asia's leading biotechnology partnering event in Japan in October.
 
The 17th edition of BioJapan 2015 will run from October 14 to 16 at Pacifico Yokohama, said a statement.
 
As an integrated exhibition that embodies regenerative medicine, personalised medicine, diagnostics, functional food, bio-energy and other facets, the event will gather top-level executives as well as experts responsible for R&D, business development, licensing, and alliances all under one roof to share cutting-edge solutions, technology, and important information. 
 
More than 700 companies spanning from big pharma to bio-venture firms will take part in more 8,000 partnering meetings.
 
Besides the official sponsors of Chugai Pharmaceutical, Kyowa Hakko Kirin, Novartis Pharma, MSD, and Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma, participants will also include Takeda, Astellas Pharma, Daiichi Sankyo, Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma, Sanofi, Bayer Yakuhin, AstraZeneca, Merck Serono as well as many SMEs, bio-ventures, research institutions and academic organisations.
