Bahrain ‘CO2 emissions fell in 2014’

Bahrain is one of two Arab countries that bucked the trend as most of the Gulf countries’ CO2 emissions continued to grow last year, according to a new report.

The nation emitted 25.5 million tonnes of CO2 in 2014, which was 0.4 per cent less than in 2013; Oman’s emissions fell by 0.5 per cent, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
