Imdaad wins IMG Worlds waste management deal

DUBAI, March 28, 2016

Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities, environment and energy solutions in the GCC, has secured an exclusive five-year contract for waste management and recycling services for IMG Worlds of Adventure, an indoor theme park, which is owned by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group. 
 
IMG Worlds of Adventure offers an immersive theme park experience across its four epic zones, which includes global brands Marvel, and Cartoon Network, and two proprietary brands Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure and IMG Boulevard, said a statement.
 
The new contract encompasses advanced waste collection and recycling requirements for the retail and hospitality areas of the facility, it said.
 
Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in the heart of new Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure will become an integral part of Dubai’s fast expanding leisure industry that will offer the best in family entertainment. 
 
Imdaad will utilize its state-of-the-art technology and professional expertise to ensure maximum waste diversion and processing of food waste within the site.
 
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, chief executive officer, Imdaad, said: “Winning the contract for IMG Worlds of Adventure reflects our commitment to offer world-class services to our customers. Imdaad has started waste management services for IMG Worlds of Adventure, which it will continue to render until 2020. 
 
It offers environment solutions to major developments in Dubai such as Dubai Silicon Oasis – an integrated mixed-use development located in Dubailand; the Layan and Mudon premier villa communities in Dubailand; the high-end The Greens, The Views, and Jumeirah Beach Residences residential communities, as well as 12 of Damac’s towers within the emirate. 
 
In addition, Imdaad provides bio-medical waste services to the Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai’s Al Barsha area. - TradeArabia News Service
