Gulf Craft signs up Marvair as HVAC supplier

Dubai, November 22, 2011

Gulf Craft, a leading manufacturer of fiberglass boat and yachts in the Middle East and Asia, has named Marvair as its preferred supplier for air-conditioning solutions in its Majesty Yachts range.

Marvair is a global heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) provider for a variety of commercial and specialty applications including schools, telecommunications shelters and marine.

This cements a successful and quickly expanding working relationship between the two companies over recent years, said Erwin Bamps, chief operating officer of Gulf Craft and Trevor Goldsmith, managing director of Marvair, after signing an agreement at the recent METS exhibition in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Over the course of this period, Gulf Craft and Marvair have collaborated closely to develop several revolutionary developments in marine AC solutions, including the conceptualization, manufacture and installation of touch screen controls for onboard air conditioning.

As per the deal, Marvair will be the exclusive air conditioning solutions provider on Gulf Craft’s Majesty Yachts, working on the installation and maintenance of systems onboard the manufacturer’s top-of-the-line range of luxury yachts.

Marvair will also continue to run training and certification programs for Gulf Craft fitters, ensuring that all fit-out engineers are certified and deliver the highest quality of service to customers.

Rigorous checks and documentation will further ensure that all onboard Marvair units enjoy a long operating life backed by a full warranty.

“The signing of this agreement demonstrates the high level of confidence we have in Marvair as a solutions provider with an excellent track record in the highly specialized marine air-conditioning business,' remarked Bamps.

Over the years, Marvair has shown flexibility, innovativeness and cost-effectiveness in helping develop systems that enhance the ease and comfort of users of Gulf Craft’s Majesty Yachts, he stated.

'We look forward to collaborating on many more successful projects in the years to come,' he added.

Goldsmith said Gulf Craft’s deep understanding of the marine market, customer preferences and adherence to the highest standards of quality have offered a catalyst for the development of some of our most innovative air conditioning solutions for yachts.

'It is heartening to work with a company that appreciates creative collaboration and has the confidence in our strong market presence and we believe this agreement will further strengthen an already successful partnership.”

Marvair units currently also appear in products under other brand names of Gulf Craft - on the Oryx sport yachts and cruisers, as well as in the Silvercraft family and fishing boats,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
