American Science and Engineering, a leading supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, has won a $11.6 million multi-year contract from a Latin American government agency to continue servicing and maintaining its AS&E X-ray inspection systems in support of its counter-drug and anti-terrorism missions.

The agency has deployed multiple AS&E systems throughout the country, including ZBV mobile vehicle and cargo inspection systems as well as fixed vehicle, cargo, and parcel screening systems, said a statement.
