Xeno launches Nitro range of cameras and DVRs

UK, October 6, 2015

Xeno, a part of Norbain brand’s range of analogue CCTV products, has launched its new Nitro range of cameras and DVRs, which offers customers full HD resolution over standard RG59 coax at ranges of 300 m.

The range provides 1080p image quality at an extremely cost effective price, said a statement from the company.

The available options include eyeball, bullet and vandal dome cameras, as well as 4, 8 and 16 channel DVRs, it said.

In order to allow integrators a seamless transition to the Nitro range the DVRs operate in exactly the same way as the XDR960 range with no additional training required, it added.

The same Central Management Software (CMS) can be used to connect to these and also the range of Xeno IP NVRS, said the statement.

The Nitro range gives integrators the perfect opportunity to upgrade their existing analogue customers to full HD resolution, it said.

Bob Forehand, product manager, said: “Nitro allows integrators to offer their customers the advantages of Full HD resolution, but without the complexity of IP networking.”

“In addition, they can use any existing coax cabling – keeping costs to a minimum and simplifying the overall upgrade process. Because cameras are dual format AHD and 960H, integrators only need to stock one type of camera to be able to service old and new installations,” he said.

“This is an extremely exciting development in the analogue world and offers end users a cost-effective upgrade path to full HD,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
