IRAN, May 4, 2016

Pakistan LPG Distributors Association has joined hands with the National Iranian Gas Company to import 75,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) within a year.

Based on the agreement, at least 6,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be imported from Iran every month for a year, added the Iran Daily News report.

The association's president Irfan Khokhar stated that price of imported LPG will be in line with local market prices, it said.

Khokhar noted that the imported LPG would definitely help curb energy crisis to some extent.
