Binzagr Unilever in waste management deal with Modon

JEDDAH, June 2, 2016

Binzagr Unilever, the Saudi Arabian unit of Unilever, recently signed an agreement with the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) to exchange knowledge and expertise on zero waste to landfill techniques, said a report.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) between Unilever’s managing director Engineer Khalid Fayed and Modon’s head of operations and investor relations Engineer Khamis Saleh Al Ghamdi, added the Saudi Gazette report.

Modon’s spokesperson Sami Al Hussaini said that the deal with Binzagr Unilever is of high importance to exchange knowledge and information about waste reduction.

He added that the company is committed to developing industrial cities in line with global best practices, particularly in terms of sustainability and low environmental impact.

Hussaini noted that partners like Binzagr Unilever Limited are an invaluable resource for private sector expertise, added the report.
