Emirati delegation studies GOIC expertise

A delegation of Emirati businessmen and investors recently visited Qatar-based Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) to discuss future cooperation and exchange expertise to promote the industrial sector in the UAE and its emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
The delegation was headed by Dr Tariq bin Kayed Al-Qassimi, chairman of Al-Ittihad Investments of Ras Al Khaimah, and was received by GOIC’s secretary general Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al Ageel, said a Wam report.
The delegation also included Dr Mahmoud Fraihat, chairman of Ithmar; Dr Abdul Mohaimen Qanbarji, CEO of Al Ittihad, along with a number of managers, investors and businessmen, it added.
During the meeting Al Ageel presented an overview of the organisation and its objectives and activities in the industrial sector.
Al Ageel and the UAE delegation examined GOIC's projects and programmes in the field of industrial studies and research in the GCC.
The participants also discussed future joint projects and participation of the organisation in a conference on industrial investment in Ras Al Khaimah, added the report.
