DOHA, November 7, 2016

Qatar Gas Transport Co (Nakilat) has assumed full ship management and operations of Q-Max LNG carrier Mekaines from Shell Trading and Shipping Company Ltd (STASCo), as part of the planned and phased transition announced earlier this year.

With a cargo carrying capacity of 266,476 cu m, Mekaines is wholly-owned by Nakilat and chartered by Qatargas, said a statement from Nakilat.
