Ericsson to showcase 5G, IoT innovation at MWC

DUBAI, February 9, 2017

Ericsson is demonstrating its latest innovative solutions including 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 running from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona, Spain.

The communications technology leader will have a special focus on 5G, platforms and services for IT, cloud, networks, TV & media, connected solutions for industries and the Internet of Things.

“The Networked Society is transforming entire industries. Digitalization is changing every aspect of our lives and becoming fundamental for people, business and society,” said Rafiah Ibrahim, head of Ericsson in Region Middle East and East Africa.

“Our innovation drives development in mobility, broadband and cloud, creating the foundation for new eco-systems, and transformation across industries. The change that transformation brings is in the hands of everyone and we look forward to bringing this closer to our customers at Mobile World Congress this year.”

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the world’s largest annual gathering for the mobile industry, organized by the GSMA and held in the Mobile World Capital: Barcelona, Spain. In 2016 the show brought some 101,000 visitors from around the world. – TradeArabia News Service
