Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies invests in energy-saving lighting solutions

RIYADH, April 3, 2017

Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies, the Ford and Lincoln sole-dealer in Saudi Arabia, is nearing completion of its project to install energy-saving lighting solutions.

The project is being undertaken in cooperation with Current’s lighting solutions powered by GE.

Current will introduce a wide range of LED solutions at showrooms, offices, workshops and warehouses that are specifically designed to enhance both the working and retail environments with the highest efficiency standards.

Affecting more than 200 locations in the kingdom, the energy-saving management project is a significant step towards the organisations strategic objectives.

The energy-saving and sustainability transformation project aims not only at achieving the organisation's strategic sustainability initiatives and objectives, which include efficiencies in the electrical energy consumption of the company, but also providing higher quality illumination experience in the company.

The automotive sector is one of the most competitive sectors in terms of in-store customer experience and engagement. Having the right amount of light is a critical element of the vehicle presentation, if not the most significant element that ensures a successful sales environment as it ensures the appearance of the vehicle’s true colours, and reduces the reflections that could disturb car buyers, consequently adding to the buyers comfort while exploring the showroom, it added.

Industry leading LED lighting solutions powered by GE employ the latest technologies addressing these objectives specifically.

Sabah Al-Kraidees, corporate strategy director of Al Jazirah Vehicle Agencies, commented: “Our company is committed to making a difference to the environment and community by managing our energy consumption and reducing our carbon footprint to more than 200 Locations of our agencies network.”

“The decision to replace traditional energy-consuming lighting with new LED energy-saving lighting solutions by Current reflects our commitment to supporting the kingdom’s strategic vision 2030 with regards to focus on promoting energy-saving sustainable development,” he said.

Erdem Soyal, general manager for the Middle East and Turkey, Current, said: “The partnership underlines our competency in delivering cutting edge, aesthetic and sustainable lighting solutions for large commercial customers.”  – TradeArabia News Service
