AwalNet slashes DSL rates

Riyadh, January 6, 2008

Saudi Arabia’s AwalNet has cut price on its DSL services and seeks to boost its performance.

The company, one of the leading Internet service provider in Saudi Arabia, is also implementing major enhancements on its technical infrastructure.

AwalNet has slashed the prices of all AwalDSL packages, starting from 64Kbs for SR40 up to 4Mbs for SR585.

The company has also improved the performance of its DSL services by revamping its technical infrastructure through increasing the internet bandwidth rates and enhancing the technical support and after-sale services.

“This decision comes in tandem with the company’s continuous strategy to attract more customers in KSA and to provide them with the best services and technical support available. From this moment forward, our subscribers will have the choice to pick the required internet speeds for very competitive prices,” said AwalNet’s products and marketing manager engineer Abdulaziz Saud Al Helayyil. – TradeArabia News Service
