Dubai, January 25, 2009

Al Otaiba Communications, exclusive distributor for Sitecom in the Middle East, has introduced Pure E-motion | X-Series, the next generation routers and adapters from Sitecom, to the region.

The new range is a complete line-up containing the smallest 'N' routers in the world with Internal High Performance Antenna technology without making any concessions in its technical features.

During the development of this innovative line, Sitecom embraced upon a very ambitious mission: to reach maximum wireless performance with internal antennas in terms of speed and coverage, to provide security 'out of the box' and simple user-friendly solutions; all combined within an exclusive and compact casing which could fit into the palm of a hand.

“The stylish and extremely compact routers and adapters from the Pure E-motion | X-series take advantage of the latest wireless technologies and make it possible not only for experienced users, but also for beginners to easily create a fast and secure wireless connection at home or in the home-office,” said Khalaf bin Saif Al Otaiba, CEO, Al Otaiba Communications.

The Pure E-motion | X-series line consists of three different solutions, which are represented by X-symbols (X1 - blue, X2 - green and X3 - orange).
Each of the symbols corresponds to the number of Internal High Performance Antennas integrated within the router.

Sitecom makes it easy to choose the right technology by providing a clear table on the back of the packaging customised for each demand.

Depending on the expected speed, coverage and used applications, the user can check which model suits his needs the best following Sitecom's advice.

For each router Sitecom developed a compatible USB adapter for an ideal match and optimal wireless performance; both marked with the same colour label on the front of the packaging.

User-friendliness has played an important role in the development of this range. The X-series routers distinguish themselves thanks to a modern casing without external antennas in a compact size of 11,8 x 12,5 x 3 cm (hxwxd).

Moreover the products do not look out of place in any interior thanks to the lifestyle design in warm brown and cream colours.

Since Sitecom is aware of the global scale of environmental problems, the X-series router casings are produced without the use of paint, but made of coloured raw materials.

Taking into consideration a wide target audience, Sitecom has chosen an easy-to-follow Quick Installation Guide, which uses clear diagrams and has as few words as possible.

The first products from the Pure E-motion | X-series that will be available are the X1, X2 and X3 wireless routers and compatible USB adapters.

With the WL-340 Wireless Router 150N X1 the user can easily set up a wireless home network with a throughput up to 150 Mbps and a reliable wireless range.

This router with one Internal High Performance Antenna makes it possible to wirelessly share files and broadband Internet access, as well as the peripheral devices attached to the desktop PC's and notebooks in the network.
