UAE's leading telecom operator Etisalat said it has entered into a deal with Lootah BCG to enable its customers to pay their monthly gas bills online through its payment gateway.

The Etisalat Payment Gateway (EPG) service is a proprietary payment platform that enables real-time authorization of payment transactions from Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express.

Lootah Gas customers will now be able to use the Etisalat Payment gateway to pay their monthly utility (Gas) bills online through the website, said an Etislalat statement.

Payments can be made using Visa or MasterCard credit cards and are securely processed through the Etisalat Payment Gateway, it added.

Commenting on the web enablement, Marycel M. Roxas, commercial manager of Lootah BCGas said: 'Our main focus is to make customer services easier, always available and more convenient. The e-payment facility offered by Lootah BCGas has been tremendously successful and many customers are using the e-Payment option.'

'Our e-payment facility will henceforth be powered by the Etisalat Payment Gateway that not only provides us multiple payment options but is also a far more cost-effective solution to deploy.'

'With the advanced Etisalat Payment Gateway Solution in place, Lootah BCGas will further look at extending the possibility of providing many other advanced benefits for its e-Payment services, such as AutoPay (recurring Payments),' she noted.
