Silah backs Bahrain eGovernment forum

Manama, April 8, 2012

Silah Gulf, a multi-award winning business process outsourcing and customer experience provider, will be the gold sponsor of the Bahrain International e-Government Forum 2012, which opens today.

The forum will be held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Supreme Committee of Information and Communication Technology Association chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa till Wednesday.

'Underscoring our commitment to the development of the e-community in Bahrain, we are extremely pleased to support the eGovernment Forum,' Silah chief executive Joe Tawfik said.

'Customer experience is a defining criterion for any business' success especially in industries that are affected by growing competition,' he stated.

'Companies today are almost homogeneous when it comes to products and rates. The only real differentiating factor is customer service, this is where they can truly make their mark - the forum will provide companies the right platform to discuss this key issue,' said Tawfik.

Bahrain Society of Engineers president and Bahrain International e-Government Forum chairman A Majeed Al Gassab thanked Silah for this contribution.

'Customer service management is one of the top industries in the world today. Contact centres provide employment, create customer loyalty and generate revenue for a company.'

'With their international best practice approach, Silah has transformed customer experience management in Bahrain.'

'By backing this forum, they have reiterated their commitment to helping improve the technology and e-infrastructure in Bahrain,' said Al Gassab.

Rawabi Next Generation Network Solutions (Rawabi NGNS), a fully owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Rawabi Holding will be showcasing its products at the forum.

Rawabi NGNS's participation highlights the important role the company plays in the telecommunications and information technology industries, offering simple voice and data services to individuals all the way to turnkey solutions to the maritime and oil and gas industries.

Rawabi NGNS acting general manager Milan Jovancic said this is a great opportunity to present its brand for the first time to the public.-TradeArabia News Service
