Muscat, June 24, 2012

More than 100 Nawras employees including senior management participated in various interactive social media workshops held over a five-day period to develop a more active social media culture.

The nine sessions conducted by The Online Project, Middle East's leading social media agency, focused on innovative ways to leverage social media and integrate the platform as part of the company’s holistic approach to communicating with customers.

Omar Azar, head of marketing communications at Nawras, said: “Everything we do at Nawras revolves around delivering an outstanding customer experience. With social media rapidly becoming a natural extension of our daily lives and changing the way we communicate, we are taking advantage of this powerful and influential medium to continue building strong bonds with all our valuable customers, especially the youth.”

“We have embraced social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter with full force to engage with customers in an attentive and intuitive manner to make us better attuned to their needs and expectations,” he said. “This has allowed us to interact instantly with customers and identify more ways to make their communications simpler and more meaningful in our signature pleasingly different style.” – TradeArabia News Service
