Russian firm plans hi-tech Bahrain venture

MacroScope, a leading Russian company, plans to set up a joint venture in Bahrain that will work to install hi-tech surveillance cameras to monitor traffic as well as shopping malls, said a report.

An agreement was signed by MacroScope in this regard with Bahrain-based software company MHS Technologies, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

The new venture will be announced at a Press conference to be held under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro next week, the report added.

The deal follows a recent visit by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to Russia.-TradeArabia News Service
