The award was introduced in 2001 with the aim of making the Arab World an integrated, advanced informatics community, building human capabilities in IT development, promoting the role of social institutions to keep pace with technological advancement, boosting IT skills and innovations, developing and highlighting the Arabic digital content and preparing Arab youth to establish an advanced IT culture while upholding spirit of competition, excellence and creativity, said a statement.

“I am positive that this award will further motivate ADSIC to achieve more progress and launch more innovative initiatives in the field of Information Technology to better serve our public and consolidate the UAE’s leading global position,” added Al Mansoori.
