GSMA confirms speaker line-up at Dubai conference

The GSMA has confirmed the full speaker line-up and agenda for the upcoming Mobile 360 Series – Middle East conference in Dubai, UAE.
 
The event, which will take place on October 20 and 21 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will bring together programme comprising representatives from mobile operators, vendors, vertical industries, governments and other industry experts to discuss the future of mobility across the Arab states of the Middle East and North Africa.
 
Michael O'Hara, chief marketing officer, GSMA, said: “The 2015 edition of Mobile 360 – Middle East will focus on how mobile networks are creating the platform that will deliver truly connected societies throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
 
“This year’s conference programme brings together an exceptional line-up of mobile industry leaders, who will share their unique insights in areas such as digital commerce, digital identity, digital security and the Internet of Things, and debate the opportunities and challenges shaping the region’s vibrant mobile ecosystem.”
 
Alongside the conference programme, visitors to the event will benefit from a wide range of networking events and product demonstrations, said a statement.
 
The ‘showcase’ area will be demonstrating the latest mobile technology innovations during the show. New to the event this year will be the Networking Opportunity Centre (NOC), which offers expert-led themed discussions on specific topics in which attendees are encouraged to participate, it said.
 
In addition, a networking reception, open to all delegates, will be held on October 20. This event will take place poolside at the Hotel Novotel World Trade Centre, adjacent to the venue, and will feature refreshments and live music.
 
The event has attracted sponsorship from major industry players. Leading mobile companies supporting the 2015 edition of the event include Etisalat (host sponsor); Ooredoo (platinum sponsor); Ericsson (gold sponsor); and Huawei and STC (silver sponsors).
 
The conference will be co-located with Gitex, which is expected to attract more than 25,000 C-Level executives and is recognised as one of the leading ICT events in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
