BNET risk management division head gets key CBCI certificate

BNET, the national broadband network of Bahrain responsible for the design, construction and operation of fiber infrastructure, has announced that its risk management and business continuity unit head Eman Hafedh has completed the (CBCI) exam with merit achieving an excellent score of 98%.
 
Formerly a part of Bahrain’s telecommunication company Batelco, BNET got separated from the mother company and was launched in October 2019, becoming the sole developer for fiber infrastructure in Bahrain. 
 
The (CBCI) certificate is an accredited professional certificate offered by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). The Institute seeks to build a more resilient future for organizations by disseminating information about business continuity and establishing industry best practices.
 
Lauding the feat of Hafedh, BNET said it was committed to the continuous growth and development of its employees by offering the most effective and relevant educational certificates and training programmes. 
 
"This will positively improve both their performance and Company’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives," he added.
 
BNET’s launch was key to the implementation of the 4th National Telecommunication Plan (NTP4 2016), which prioritised country-wide access to affordable, reliable and secure ultra-fast Fiber broadband services. 
 
This marked a new era for telecommunications in in Bahrain, preparing the country for a digital future with first class infrastructure and enhancing its position as a regional hub for information technologies, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
