More than 600 cinema-lovers joined UAE-based telecommunication operator du for an exclusive premiere of the final film in Peter Jackson’s ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy, ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’, at VOX Cinemas in Mall of the Emirates.

As many as 243 competition winners were among those who walked the red carpet to the invitation-only screening, having won two tickets through competitions on popular ration stations, and through du’s social media channels, said a statement.

Through the du Tuesday campaign, all eligible du prepaid and post-paid mobile customers can enjoy a complimentary second ticket for all films showing at VOX Cinemas in the UAE, it said.
