Games Middle East show postponed

DUBAI, August 31, 2016

The Games Middle East 2016 show, the region’s premier gaming festival has been postponed until 2017, said event organisers Alliance, a public events and exhibitions company.

Following the success of the event last year, organizers and stakeholders have been diligently working to ensure this year’s show exceeds the quality and standards of previous events, a statement said.

Despite a number of fantastic exhibitors, guests, tournaments and activities lined up, the schedule of new game releases and availability of new content has prompted a mutual decision by organizers and strategic partners to postpone the event and ensure the best experience possible is available to fans and enthusiasts from across the Middle East, according to the statement.

New dates dates will be announced in the New Year and those who have already purchased tickets will be contacted by Virgin Tickets for refunds and next steps, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
