Interiors UAE, a brand new event for the interiors and furnishing sector, began in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

CMP Information, UK’s leading exhibition & events firm, is organising the exhibition in joint venture partnership with Channels Exhibitions.

The show was inaugurated by Mohammed Omar Abdullah, under-secretary for the Abu Dhabi Department of Planning and Economy, in the presence of Ahmad Humaid Al Mazrouie, managing director of Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

The exhibition, which runs up to April 2 at Adnec, will showcase the best of brands and companies in the furnishing and interiors sector from around the globe.

With a booming market of residential and commercial spaces, coupled with an attractive retail market, the 2008 interiors market is likely to cross the $2.7 billion mark with Abu Dhabi fast becoming a commercial hub for the entire region, said the organisers.-TradeArabia News Service
