Memac Ogilvy holds digital skills training

Memac Ogilvy, one of the leading multinational communication agencies in the Middle East, has taken the digital capabilities of its employees to new heights by organising training seminars for its staff across the region.

The interactive two-day seminars, held in Dubai and Beirut, covered the latest innovations in the exciting realm of digital communication. 

The sessions are part of Memac Ogilvy’s new Digital U training programme, designed to instill all employees across the agency’s 13 offices with the skills to create innovative and creative digital work for their clients.

“With more than 63 million internet users in the Mena region, and the increasing popularity of mobile internet, it’s important that our staff are at the forefront with their digital communication capabilities,” said Tanya Dernaika, regional planning director and training leader at Memac Ogilvy.

“It’s no longer viable to restrict digital knowledge to digital specialists within our agency. We need to ensure that all staff are not only proficient, but innovators in digital work,” she added.

The highly interactive sessions presented by some of the best industry professionals and lead by Anna Lane, business director at neo@Ogilvy, OgilvyOne Dubai's newest digital media division, covered a diverse range of topics including branded entertainment, digital planning and production and innovations in mobile internet communication.
