RAK courts to have civil prosecution unit

Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) courts will have a new a civil prosecution section within the public prosecution department, the emirate’s judicial council said.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, chaired the meeting of the judicial council held at the RAK Ruler’s Court.

The meeting also discussed business plans and distribution of work at the Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal and the Public Prosecution Department in line with the vision of RAK Courts to develop a world- class judicial system in the emirate.

The judicial council also decided on filling up of vacancies at RAK Courts and promotion of some judicial members. – TradeArabia News Service
