Dubai, August 25, 2014

Du, a leading UAE telecom company, and Microsoft have joined together to offer gamers in the UAE the opportunity to pre-order their new Xbox One, guaranteeing to be amongst the first to experience the new gaming platform.

Every Xbox One system will include the Xbox One console — which features a 500GB hard drive, blu-ray player and built-in wi-fi — one Xbox One wireless controller, , a HDMI cable, a headset, and a free 14-day trial of ‘Xbox Live Gold’ for new members, a statement said.

Customers who pre-book via du’s online shop, shop.du.ae, will have their Xbox One delivered from September 5 onwards, it said.

In addition, pre-order bundles will include five games free of charge (FIFA15, Forza 5 (tokens), Halo Spartan Assault, Max “Curse of the Brotherhood and Loco Cycle).

Features that will accompany the Xbox One experience include: Game DVR/upload which allows you to capture and record game moments and share clips with the community, apps with Skype, Twtich, Machinima and more, cable TV access through Xbox One with HDMI-pass through and updates to Xbox live, giving anyone with an Xbox access to all entertainment experiences without an Xbox live gold membership, the statement said.

“We’re excited to announce Microsoft Xbox’s partnership with du as part of the Xbox One pre-order campaign in the UAE,” said Kerim Ozbakirci, category manager – Xbox, Microsoft Gulf.

“We are confident that this partnership will bring the Xbox One to the living rooms of du subscribers, where they can enjoy a rich gaming and entertainment experience with friends and family,” he said. – TradeArabia News Service
