Al Fanar to open largest restaurant in Al Ain

AL AIN, April 14, 2015

Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, a leading UAE restaurant offering traditional emirati cuisine in a themed rustic setting, is set to extend its hospitality to food lovers in the Western region by opening its new branch in Al Ain.

Scheduled to be open in May, the outlet is being developed as an ideal corporate and banquet venue near Souk Al Zafarana at Al Jimi, said a statement.

Hashem Al Marzouqi, principal, Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, said that the new stand alone outlet in Al Ain will be the largest restaurant in Al Ain and the largest of Al Fanar so far with capacity to accommodate 600 people.

It will be a destination by itself, with a combined indoor and outdoor capacity of 900 people, he said.

“We decided to start a branch here because Al Ain’s reputation as an outdoor activity-based tourist destination continues to grow, attracting an increasing number of local and international visitors. It suits us as our objective is to enable the world to experience a small part of what our heritage has to offer and gain an insight into the uniqueness of our culture,” he said.

“The unique selling point of Al Fanar Restaurant and Cafe is that it is the only authentic Emirati restaurant chain serving the finest traditional Emirati cuisine in an Emirati heritage setting.  Quality and consistency of food across all outlets is ensured,” said Al Marzouqi.

“The restaurant boasts an exquisite menu including many signature historic dishes such as ‘Aysh Mohammar ma Samak Magli’, ‘Beryani Maleh’ and ‘Asidat Al Tamor’ that are rarely cooked in Emirati homes today. We promise to bring alive the secrets from ancient Emirati kitchens only because we wish our diners to leave as loyal fans after they have experience our food,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
