Huawei donates Ramadan meals to 30 mosques in Oman

MUSCAT, July 7, 2015

Leading ICT solutions provider Huawei’s employees are running a local charity drive that will see the company donate and distribute Ramadan food boxes to 30 mosques across Muscat, Oman.

The activity started at the beginning of Ramadan and covers one mosque per day for thirty days, with hundreds of boxes distributed each evening at sunset, said a statement.

Huawei has been active in the Sultanate for over a decade with around 350 employees.

In addition to serving local telecom carriers, enterprises and consumers, Huawei is dedicated to supporting the development of the communities in which it operates, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
