Bahraini on trial for supporting IS

A Bahraini accused of helping others join the ranks of Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria admitted the allegation when he appeared in court yesterday (September 20). He allegedly promoted extremist IS ideologies on social media and attended weekly meetings with IS members in Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
