New Ford Mustang to make movie debut

Michigan, January 16, 2014

Ford’s all-new Mustang is set to make its big-screen debut in the ‘Need for Speed’ movie on March 14.

The ‘Need for Speed’ star Aaron Paul will drive the custom 2014 Mustang hero car in the movie based on the long-running Electronic Arts video game series, said a statement.

Movie director Scott Waugh, said: “I chose Mustang because it is a car that really represents American culture. It just represents modern muscle, and it’s iconic, having been in some of the greatest car chase movies of all time.”

The fans of the video game franchise already have access to virtual drives of the new Mustang, which became available as a free in-game download in EA’s Need for Speed Rivals in mid-December.

The new model features a range of available engines including a new turbocharged EcoBoost 2.3-litre and an upgraded 5.0-litre V8 with more than 420 horsepower.

It also features advanced driver-assist systems, track apps and launch control. - TradeArabia News Service
