Bahrain plans car ban for Manama souq

Cars could soon be banned from the Manama Souq one day a week under new plans to make the Bahrain’s historic trading heartland a vehicle-free zone, a report said.
The idea has been put forward by a committee set up to represent souq traders’ interests, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
